Four finalists for Jawun Evans

Jawun Evans has trimmed his list. The Greenville, S.C. native has established himself as one of the elite point guards in the country after his continued success with the SC Raptors on the travel circuit.

A host of schools went on a full court press in July to recruit the Dallas (Texas) Kimball floor general. After looking through his options, Evans has slimmed his list down.

According to his travel coach Lamont Simmons, Evans will consider Texas, Oklahoma State, Illinois and Southern California. Simmons said Evans will set his visit dates soon.

Texas head man Rick Barnes, Oklahoma State's Travis Ford and John Groce of Illinois all spent time watching Evans at the Havoc on the Hardwood. Andy Enfield of Southern Cal was posted up at the UAA Finals in mid-July at Suwanee Sports Academy.
