Davidson scores big with Pritchett
After shining at the Best of the South tournament, Lake Norman (N.C.) forward Kishawn Pritchett was a hot prospect with quality mid-major programs. That's why one local school wanted to lock up the versatile 6-foot-5 do-everything wing forward.
Davidson locked up Pritchett on Friday afternoon, according to his travel coach Brendan Winters of PSB Select.
Pritchett held offers from Samford, Elon, High Point, UNC Greensboro, Winthrop, UNC Wilmington, Radford, Cornell, Western Carolina, Loyola and Gardner Webb, he said.
PSB Select won the 2014 Best of the South tournament as a team. Pritchett played a big role in his team's success, too. He was one of the tougher players to defend because of his size at his position and versatility as a passer, scorer and rebounder.
Pritchett was named 2nd team All-BOTS.
