Grassroots Showcase Player Profile : Michael Fisch
Louisville, KY - The Grassroots Showcase held at The Kentucky Expo Center was filled with independent teams and shoe-sponsored programs throughout the weekend. The annual event we partner with Ohio Basketball was another success. The teams came to play and we took it all in. We do player profile stories on guys that we thought had solid weekends and try to get their name out to college coaches.
The Shockers Adidas Gold 2026 program went 3-1 on the weekend at The Grassroots Showcase and made it to the semi-finals of the Platinum division before losing a close one. Michael Fisch was a big reason why. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard opened the event with 17 points in a win on Friday night. Throughout the weekend, Fisch was a guy that was relied upon to be a shotmaker and rebounder. He averaged 11.8 points and 5 rebounds for his Shocker program.
Fisch plays out of Father Ryan in Nashville, Tennessee and alongside Northwestern signee Cade Bennerman who played with Game Elite on our HoopSeen stage from time to time. Fisch is an interesting prospect because of his shooting ability and size. He really knows how to move without the ball and get to the open spots to get his shot off but can also make them from the set position.
