STARS Basketball Club UA Rise will take home the 16u Ja Morant Bracket Championship! STARS played a great brand of basketball all weekend, and it continued into this championship win over Atlanta AllStars. They knocked down 14 threes as a team in this one, forcing Atlanta AllStars to run them off the line, leading to open drives to the rim and open kickouts because of the help defenders. Their ability to play inside out and keep the defense honest was the perfect formula to get past a well-coached Atlanta AllStars. Dawson Gilbert continued his stellar weekend with another 27-point performance on 5 threes. Issac Brent also added 18 points himself on 4 threes. Will Dolpher had a solid showing despite the loss with 17 points. His ability to finish around the rim and versatile skill set is something coaches will love at the next level.
