Fall Preview II, team 5 evaluations

Fall Preview II was one of our better camps as some top prospects across the region joined us at Suwannee Sports Academy. After reviewing the notes from our staff and coaches, here are the evaluations from team five.

Malique Johnson, 2024, PG, Our Lady of Mercy: Johnson plays with a lot of poise to be so young. He's a shot maker for sure and is very crafty offensively for his size. He'll need to before vocal in the PG spot but that'll come with experience.

Jamal Sorrell, 2021, G, North Druid Hills: Sorrell is a speedy guard who can get passt pretty much every defender off the bounce. Sorrell has a nice mid-range jumper, quick, gets some rebounds, has good court-vision, understands his role on the floor.

Jacson Lilley, 2022, SG, Lambert: Lilley plays with a lot of confidence which is good to see. He's not afraid to get shots up. Though he can be a little streaky, when he sees one go in early, he can get hot.

Simeon Cottle, 2022, PG, Tri-Cities: Cotton played really well in our first Fall Preview Camp. He had some tough matchups, having to guard the likes of Anthony Arrington and George Pridgett, but he held his own every time. He's got a very high basketball IQ as a PG. He can score the ball and should look to improve on creating for other players but there's great upside.

Jayden Arria, 2024, F, Habersham Central: Arria came ready to play and was very coachable, which we love to see in a young player. He's a capable shooter and can make great passes. He can be unselfish to a fault at times, but his teammates loved playing with him.

Marqua Owens, 2021 G, Southwest Dekalb: Likes to penetrate and kick out to open shooter. Great court vision,

Kaden McArthur, 2023 G, Grayson: Makes the right play. Good in ball screens. Capable catch and shoot and off the bounce.
