2020 Alabama Preview Camp: Top Performers, Part I

The 2020 Alabama Fall Preview is officially in the books after a strong day of competition and game-play on Sunday at the Supreme Courts in Guntersville. After camp, we polled our coaches and staff on their top performers from the event. Nearly a dozen people's input was considered for our top performers.

Without further adieu, here is our first of two lists of top performers from this year's Alabama Fall Preview...

Jalen Jackson, 2021 WF, Bob Jones (AL): From start to finish there may not have been a guy that made more winning plays than Jackson. The 6-foot wing has a constant motor that never stops and he made use of it. He got every loose ball in sight and was able to fill up the stat sheet consistently. Factor in the big dunks and defensive plays that turned into momentum for his team and you can sum up Jackson's day in one word: productive. He's headed into a senior season at Bob Jones where he should see an expanded role and become a focal point for the Patriots.

Cade Phillips

Cade Phillips, 2023 PF, Westbrook Christian (AL): It's hard not to like the upside and potential of Cade Phillips' game. The 6-foot-8 big man has unlimited length and size. He continuously played above the rim and was the beneficiary of several good passes out of pick-and-roll opportunities. However, his biggest impact came on the defensive end of the floor with his length and mobility. Phillips has the ability t move his feet and keep guards in front of him while also blocking and altering shots at the rim. In a gym filled with plenty of upperclassmen talent, the sophomore was one of the more promising and impressive prospects we had in attendance.

Justin Moore

Justin Moore, 2021 WF, Oxford (AL): Moore wasted no time making his presence known with some highlight dunks to start his first game of the day. The 6-foot-4 wing is full of bounce and power around the rim and he took full advantage of both on Sunday. Nonetheless, the senior has worked hard since the high school season last year and it is evident. Moore is fully capable of making shots from behind the three-point line, as he showed throughout the day. He brings tons of versatility on the defensive end of the floor with his ability to guard multiple positions, too. The Oxford High School product had a quality day and should be a popular target for college coaches.

Win Miller

Win Miller, 2023 CG, Vestavia Hills (AL): One of the top guard prospects to lave 'em up for the Alabama Preview Camp was Vestavia Hills (AL) guard Win Miller. The 6-foot-3 guard got virtually anywhere he wanted on the floor. He was able to make several tough and acrobatic shots around the rim because of his craftiness with the ball in his hands. Despite being only a sophomore, Miller never got rattled or rushed into making a mistake. He showed the ability to make the right play each time down the floor. He's another promising young prospect in Alabama's 2023 class.

Alex Garcia

Alex Garcia, 2021 CG, Buckhorn (AL): Garcia did an awfully good job of introducing himself at the beginning of the event. Several coaches noted his motor and vocal attitude in drills and it carried over into 5-on-5 play. The senior was extremely efficient throughout the day, as he made a number of shots from the floor. He was also hard to handle with his quick first step that allowed him to make plays for teammates. The Buckhorn (AL) product came in as an unknown, but he left the Alabama Preview Camp raising plenty of eyebrows from coaches and fans alike.
