Top underclassmen at the 2020 HoopSeen #ATLJAM, part III
The 2020 Atlanta Jam is in the books and our staff has gone through a weekend full of notes to compile our Best of series from the summer showcase. Today we take a look at the top overall underclassmen performers from the event.
I’ve always been a big fan of his shot-making ability and continue to think his perimeter skill set will be the thing that draws in a variety of college coaches in the near future. He went on a three-point barrage at the Atlanta Jam, knocking down 12 made triples over the course of four games and averaged just a hair under 14 points a game on a team that runs a good rotation of talent. Brown has a clean shot and his makes pop the net a way that purists love. Further discipline with his offense should continue to open doors for him. Overall, very good weekend of work from Brown.
Big guard that can score on the perimeter or back his man down in the post and score with his strong upper-body. The southpaw showed he can consistently make mid-range jumpers, push the ball off of rebounds and showed some keen passing ability. At 6-foot-5, Davis does a great job of rebounding for his position. His timing coupled with his strength allows for him to collect boards that other guys his position don’t come up with. - JB
The young guard was a nice revelation at the 2020 Atlanta Jam. He was a scoring machine and he looks like he has the frame and game to develop into a really nice player at Campbell High School. Clark is a legit 6-foot-5 and he is effortless in his production. As we look ahead into the next wave of talent here in the Peach State, Clark could be a player we have in conversations for years to come. As is the case for any player who has yet to play a minute of high school hoops, we are cautiously optimistic about his future. From what we saw at the Atlatna Jam, we’re encouraged about what could be in store.
