Terry Brown of the South Fulton Lions was an eye-catcher over the weekend. The 6-foot-6 wing from Fayette County High School has a good basketball body and plays hard and fast. FCHS has a lot of good size on the roster this year and could be a problem in the post-season. And if you’re a Georgia hoophead, you know how well they develop wing players at the school under the tuteledge of coach Andre Flynn. Brown was good game in and game out at the Atlanta Jam. - Justin Young

Jaylan Wetzel had a great weekend for PSB Elite. The 6-foot-2 combo guard out of Tennessee is a strong, physical guard. He can finish through contact in the lane and has a nice stroke from three. Wetzel has great speed, getting him to the opposite end of the floor in just a few dribbles. He has a tight handle that keeps the defenders on their toes. If he is given too much space, he does not hesitate to shoot it from anywhere on the floor. He scored 15 points and 19 points in the two matchups I got to watch him play in. I would like to see him distribute the ball off the drive to get his teammates more involved; I think that is the key to him turning his game up another notch. Wetzel has heard from Lee University, but with more performances like what he put on this weekend, I fully expect that list to grow. He is a player we will see on the next level. - Brianna Patton

The old school big man was a pleasure to observe as he put on a clinic on Saturday at the Atlanta Jam. He can score over either shoulder in the lane or on the block. He has extradordinary patience waiting for cutters and letting the play develop. He keeps the ball high, he has good vision, makes crisp passes and rebounds well despite a slender upper body. He possesses a service academy offer and is the perfect dose of athletic and academic for the right institution.  - Andre Whitehead
