The 2020 Atlanta Jam is in the books and our staff has gone through a weekend full of notes to compile our Best of series from the summer showcase. Today we take a look at the top overall performers from the event.
Shooters shoot. Collin Gore is one of those shooters that falls under the old adage. Give him just a little bit of room and chances are, you are going to be on the wrong end of another falling through net from Gore. The small guard for Tennessee Tiger’s Head Coach Chip Smith, has a solid handle and has a good understanding of the game. Knocked down six, three-pointers in his afternoon game on his way to 22 points. Gore tells HoopSeen he has an offer from Berry University and has heard from some Division II and III schools recently. - Justin Byerly
The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native averaged tight at 24 points per game over the weekend. Always in attack mode, Schneider gets the majority of his baskets driving to the rim. He has a good feel for the game and fills the stat sheet up each game. At 6-foot-5, Schneider rebounds the ball at a high-rate for his position and he averaged around 4 assists per game. He is a really fundamentally sound player that should start garnering the attention of college coaches soon. - Justin Byerly
A steal and a bucket, a deep three, a penetrating lay-up and a put back on the offensive glass, thats how Pegues makes his presence felt as he did Saturday to open up an afternoon extravaganza. Young man is the best on ball defender in our state, he craves the opposing top scorer and takes it personal if he gets one on him. Offensively he has grown to a complete player. He is the total package. His outside stroke is confident and his length allows him to penetrate and finish. - Andre Whitehead
