.@TNPrepHoops breaks down some of the standouts from Tennessee from the #ALTJAM, Part I

Hoop Seen Atlanta Jam took on a Tennessee flavor as teams from all over the Volunteer state made statements all over the Suwanee Sports Academy this past weekend. Here are some of my top players, listed alphabetically, who shined bright and continued to make their presence felt during this unorthodox summer/fall basketball campaign. This is Part I of a week-long series.

Lincoln Aholt
Centennial (Franklin, TN)
6'5 PF
2023
Stars Basketball Nashville 2023

Big kid was outstanding helping lead his squad to an unblemished record in the 15 and under division at the Atlanta Jam. Soft touch around the basket, excellent foot work for such a young player and great hands on the catch. He scored with his back to the basket and was solid on the glass and with the outlet pass. Bright future if he works on his quickness and develops more mid-range scoring ability.

Jailen Anderson
Southside (Jackson, TN)
6'2 PG
2021
Tennessee Blazers

Powerful guard got to any spot on the floor he wanted when he was focused. He showed a decent outside shot and was at his best attacking the cup and using his size and strength to finish tough scoring chances. He took over a close game scoring on several consecutive half court trips, willing his team to the win. His size will dictate point guard so rounding out those skills will only increase his value on the next level.

Will Biven
West (Knoxville, TN)
6'3 SG
2022
Tennessee Fury 2022

Burgeoning prospect has all the tools to be a highly coveted player once everything rounds into form. He has a solid shooting touch, that will need to quicken as he plays against better athletes who can close at a higher rate of speed. He can take his defender off the bounce, he is very unrated athletically and will make you pay with a roaring dunk if your not careful. He will need to continue to work on his explosiveness off the bounce, his lateral quickness and adding some lead guard into his repertoire as well.

Elijah Bredwood
Bearden (Knoxville, TN)
6'1 PG
2022
Tennessee Fury 2022

There is so much to like about this kid, he has length, he has tremendous handles and the ability to go get a bucket. His shooting is solid but could use more consistency, mainly in his shot selection. He defends using his quickness and length and he competes. He tends to dribble to excess at times but once he puts it all together he will be a coveted prospect.

Jack Brown
Maryville (Maryville, TN)
6'5 SG/WF
2021
Mid-State Elite 2021

Few had a bigger weekend than this lengthy prospect from the East. Brown was superb the entire weekend, showing a more confident shooting touch and even some exciting scores off the bounce. He ran the floor, he threw down some dunks and he defended his position using his length and lateral quickness. His confidence was high and it showed in his effort. The next step is consistency. Can you duplicate these efforts at the next event, keep this momentum going and continue to rise up the prospect watch list.
