2019 South Carolina Fall Preview: Team 6

Our South Carolina Fall Preview camp is in the books and our staff of evaluators and coaches have gone through their notes of every player in the camp. Every. Single. One. Today we look closer at Team 6 from camp.

Matthew Rodgers, Sumter, 6-0, SG, 2023: Strong finisher with sneaky athleticism. Embraces contact. Good size at the PG spot. Showed confidence in shooting spot-up jumpers.

Marcus Kell, Legion Collegiate, 6-5, SF, 2022: Long. An intriguing prospect with a ton of potential upside. Had a knack for finding the ball at the right moments. Good rebounder. A nice shooting touch from the three-point line. Solid IQ. Extremely Coachable.

Juaquin Morrow, Westwood, 6-0, G, 2021:Guard with a strong jump shot. Connects really well of the dribble. Makes the correct reads with ball screens. Good pocket passer.

Carson Wolfel, Kings Ridge Christian, 5-10, CG, 2022: Lefty guard with good timing and a soft touch around the basket. Quick second jump. Capable shooter. Highly coachable.

James Davis, Wren, 5-9, PG, 2021: Quick as lightning point guard. Energized and locked in defensively. Applied great ball pressure on defense as well. Good shooter with feet set. Good decision maker off ball screens.

Blake Collins, Riverside, 6-1, CG, 2021: Combo guard who was a great teammate. Always made the unselfish play.. Showed a high-IQ on several good basket cuts. Looked comfortable shooting from the perimeter.

Semajeh Echols, Westside, 6-1, G, 2021: good post presence. Active on pick and roll and on glass. Finished well at the rim. Echols showed throughout the day that he was a capable shooter and a competitor.

Kidd Brizek, Powdersville, 6-5, F, 2022:  Long, showed the ability to be a consistent shooter. Loves spot-up or 1-2 dribble jumper with a high basketball IQ. Teams up with Team South Carolina teammate Draylan Burton on what should be a really good Powdersville team.
