All Ohio Gold 71, Tennessee Tigers 58

All Ohio Gold beat the Tennessee Tigers 71-58 to win the 17 and under Division 1 Championship on Saturday at US Amateur Nationals.

Tennessee was up six at halftime but All Ohio Gold weathered the storm and fought hard in the second half to overcome the deficit. Mason Loeffler led All Ohio Gold with 25 points and dominated in transition and off strong drives to the basket. Sean Nelson added 22 points of his own and excelled at drawing fouls inside, making 6 out of his 8 free throw attempts. 

Isiah Poore led the Tennessee Tigers with 17 points and was able to score in a variety of ways. Tennessee played solid throughout the game but just ran out of gas and fell short in the end.   - Chase Crawford
