AC Georgia Black Wins on a Miraculous Shot

In what was a really good game, AC Georgia Black’s Girard Jofresa came off the bench to hit a wild, game-winning three-pointer to send his team to victory.

Jofresa finished with 13 points, but it was wings Charles Blamo and Saigon Kitt that put AC Georgia in position to win the game.

The South Florida Sonics were led by a balanced attack of Chad Napoleon, Oliver Beardsley, and Zach Stefansson. But if there’s one guy that may have the highest ceiling on the team, it’s wing DeAnte Perez.

Perez showed off a skilled game with his long frame. He has the ability to score of the bounce, but he also has a good stroke from the perimeter.

16U Five Star Basketball Gets It Done at the Buzzer

In an emotion-filled game, Five Star Basketball prevailed over Dream Nation on a game-winner in sudden death, double overtime.

Five Star was led by two intriguing prospects: 6’5” Haden Newport and 6’0” Athan Hicks. The two carried their team both inside and out.

For Dream Nation, wing Michael Malagies stood out in a losing effort.

Put Him On the Map: 15U Julian Phillips

Any time you watch an Upward Stars team, you know they’ll have players. In this case it’s Upward Stars Southeast’s Julian Phillips that I came away most impressed with.

At 6’4”, he’s long and thin and already has a Division I body. Add to that his skill level at the wing position and you have a kid that college coaches need to circle for the future.

17U EAB Tennessee v. Stackhouse Elite Was Best Game I Saw All Day

After a heartbreaking loss in the lunch session, EAB Tennessee has to bounce back against Stackhouse Elite later in the day.

While this squad is anchored by Keon Johnson, it was strong performances from Jalen Page, Nate Bloedorn, and Marcus Fitzgerald that got EAB off to a strong start.

On the other side, Stackhouse Elite roared back from a double digit deficit to take the lead with under a minute to play behind strong guard play from Quincy Canty and Jaden Walker. Big man James Munlyn hit a huge three-pointer late that proved to be crucial in sealing the win
