Stackhouse Elite 53, Atlanta Xpress UAA 44  

Anthony Edwards of Holy Spirit Prep scored a team-high 19 points and added 6 rebounds and 3 steals, but it wasn’t enough as Atlanta Xpress couldn’t overcome a 33-21 halftime deficit. Jamir Chaplin (Meadowcreek) got Stackhouse Elite off to a quick start, scoring 12 of his team-high 17 points in the first half. The active and aggressive guard opened up the game with two threes before attacking the hole the rest of the night. He got the job done on both ends, guarding 6-foot-8 Tyson Jackson on defense and picking up 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks in the process. Mekhail Bethea (Dacula) came off the bench to spark Stackhouse Elite with 10 points. Damian Dunn scored all 8 of his points in the second half while power forward Imaje Dodd finished with 8 points and 9 rebounds. Kris Gardner (Westover) scored 9 points off the bench for the Xpress.
