#Gibbons top 15U performers

One of the great things about the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions is the preview of things to come at the grassroots level. Our 15 and under division was rich with the next wave of top talent. Here is a look at our top overall performers from the age group.

Zeb Graham, PG, Team Charlotte: Blazing speed. That’s what stood out the most for the Team Charlotte lead guard. Graham got a bulk of his production in transition, where he knows how to finish plays. In the open floor, he has jet-like speed and can get from one end of the floor to the other with ball in his hands very quickly. In the half court, he shot the ball very well from three, as did his team as a whole. He will be a name that you hear more from in the Hoop State over the next three years. - Carter Wilson

Alex Hemenway, CG, Pocket City Basketball: At first glance, there isn't much to Alex Hemenway. However, when he steps on the floor, it's a whole different story. The 6-foot-3 combo guard was one of the top overall guards in the 15U division, and he didn't have to be scoring to make an impact on the game. In fact, the freshman was much more effective as a passer and set up guy for his teammates. Hemenway has a terrific feel for the game, along with elite vision and passing ability. He's unselfish, but when he needs to score, he's darn good at that, too. Hemenway will be a popular guy for Big 10 schools to track as his career progresses. - Garrett Tucker

Tre Mann, PG, E1T1: No one made a bigger name for themselves this weekend than Tre Mann. While he won't pass the immediate looks test, peer past your first impression of the Sunshine State native and what you begin to see is a budding star. Blessed with a remarkable feel for the game along with tremendous ball skills that have only been incorporated through hard work, the freshman guard is a major hassle to defend. Toss in his perimeter shot making skills and with a few more inches and some weight gain, Mann will and should be nationally known. - Corey Evans

Omar Payne, PF, CP25 SE Elite: Get on board now, please! The bandwagon is going to get crowded fast as the practical no name out of Florida burst onto the scenes here at Gibbons. Sporting a 7-foot-3 wingspan, super quick reaction and lateral skills, and a non-stop motor, Payne brings all of the physical tangibles to the floor that would make any high major coach blush. He has the chance to be a thoroughly pursued recruit and while little is known about him, Payne embodies the term 'break out',  of which he did just that this past weekend at Suwanee Sports Academy. - Corey Evans

Dante Wilcox, Florida Flight: The Florida Flight are a fast, high energy bunch. Wilcox is the catalyst of that hard play as a very good front court presence. He was money finishing plays while rolling to the basket after setting screens for guards. He was also a high level rebounder and defender. It’s hard to say how he projects at this point, but any player who is as athletic and plays as hard as Wilcox does will have a chance to be a very good player. - Carter Wilson
