The past champions of the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions have combined team basketball, elite level players, and especially good guard play to take home trophies. 

The 16U Championship matched two teams that checked all of those boxes: E1T1 and Travelers EYBL. 

E1T1 was led by its backcourt all weekend, and the championship game was no different. Antwann Jones and Michael Devoe combined for 33 points (19 & 14 respectively). Their scoring efforts combined with forward Bryce Workman's 17 points gave them the firepower to outlast a very good Travelers team 80-68. 

The Travelers were led by Trevon Faulkner all weekend, but found a huge lift from Adam Kunkel, who scored 20 in the semifinals and 25 in the championship. Faulkner was named first team all tournament. 

E1T1's Antwann Jones was named MVP of the 16U division of Gibbons.
