Top 16U performers at the #ATLJAM
The Atlanta Jam was a great stage to see the next wave of talent. Today we dive into the top performers in the 16U division of the tournament. Here is part two of the breakdowns.
KK Curry, SF, Team NLP, 2018: A native of Cleveland, Tennessee, Curry came down to Atlanta to make a statement. He was the leading scorer of a Team NLP team that took home a trophy in the 16U division of Atlanta Jam. Curry was looking to attack any chance that he got, aggressively slashing to the rim for buckets. A lot of buckets. Curry was one of the top scorers in the 16U division of the tournament. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard currently holds an offer from Chattanooga and a bevy of other Division I interest, and the way he scores the ball, that interest will continue to rise over the next couple of years. - Carter Wilson
Cameron Holden, SG, Team Georgia Magic, 2018: Quickly becoming one of the hottest sleepers in the Peach State, Holden picked right up where he left off at the Norman Parker Showcase. The 6-foot-5 wing can pump in the points with the best of them and did so at the Atlanta Jam. Holden has been one of the better class of 2018 players we’ve see this travel season from Georgia and continues to get better all the while intriguing people along the way. - Justin Young
Shaquan Jules, SF, TNBA South, 2018: Just by looking at Jules, you can tell he is a cut above the rest athletically. Standing 6-6, the forward can power past defenders with a smooth burst. He poured in 21 points to open up Atlanta Jam and tossed in 14 more against PCBC. Playing at Windermere Prep means a step up in competition and potentially more exposure for the rising junior. - Kyle Sandy
Bailey Minor, PF, North Georgia Elite, 2018: NGE received a major boost from the 6-5 forward all weekend long. The Gainesville Red Elephant averaged 20.4 points per game at the Atlanta Jam. He scored 16 points in a championship loss to Da House. Minor can stretch the floor and knock down the corner three which makes him a tough cover for defenders. - Kyle Sandy
