#ATLJAM: Da House does it again
Da House successfully defended its title as they pulled away late against North Georgia Elite, 65-52.
Da House led 31-22 at the half after Ma’darius Hobson’s 11-point first half. Led by Bailey Minor’s team-high 16 points, North Georgia Elite ignited an early run to close to 43-40 with 9:03 remaining. Minor drilled three three-pointers and finished hard at the rim with a putback dunk that breathed life into the Elite.
Da House quickly answered though with Javian Fleming inside and Hobson, who finished with a game-high 21. Fleming, a 6-8 wide body on the low block, added 18 points and overpowered NG Elite in the second half. The back-to-the-basket specialist said he has worked on his game in the post.
“I’m just used to it. I play with a lot of grown men in my city so I just prefer to be aggressive since I’m so big,” told Fleming. Winning the Atlanta Jam back-to-back years has been a great experience for the blossoming center. “It’s good for me. I like coming to Atlanta. Some of my family stays down here so it was good.”
