4th Grade Boys: South Gwinnett (Walker) 54 - Jackson County 22

4th

South Gwinnett (Walker) completed a perfect season with a 13–0 record and a championship trophy to go along with it. They matched up against Jackson County in the championship game and handled them easily, winning 54–22 by 30 points. They had a balanced scoring effort with 7 of 8 players getting on the scoreboard. TJ Stokes led the way with 12 points, Zyan Hill added 12, and Ajani Howard had 11 in the win. Congratulations to South Gwinnett (Walker) on the perfect season and championship finish.

5th Grade Boys: Collins Hill 31 - Norcross Young Guns 30

5th

Collins Hill came out on top in an absolute thriller to win the championship. Kingston Bennett knocked down a game-winning three as time expired to secure the title. Calan Howard has been great all season and has been the engine behind this group. He scored 13 of their 31 points in the win. They capped off a successful 14–1 season in dramatic fashion with a championship-sealing three.

6th Grade Boys: Grayson 43 - South Forsyth (Gold) 30

6th

Grayson finished with a perfect 15–0 record in the 6th Grade division and secured the championship on Sunday. They had a dominant season with numerous blowout wins. In the championship game, Bryson Worley led the way with 13 points, knocking down a couple of threes and converting at the line. Rick Mabry III was a huge piece of the successful season and added 11 points, while Julian Garcia contributed 13 in the championship game. Congratulations to Grayson on a perfect season.

7th Grade Boys: Grayson 53 - North Gwinnett Red 43

7th

This Grayson 7th grade group has been together for years and continues to be the crème of the crop. They were crowned GYBA champions after completing a perfect 16–0 season. There is a ton of young talent on this team. PG Kaleo Brown led the way, setting the table with 15 points and three made threes. Combo guard Kobe Owusu has had big scoring performances and has been a reliable playmaker. Tyler Richardson is a name we will likely hear for years to come in Georgia, as the long wing provides versatility and three-level scoring. He finished with 14 in the championship win. Congratulations to Grayson on the perfect season.

8th Grade Boys: Hebron Christian Academy 64 - Alpharetta Jr. Raiders 38

8th

The GYBA season ended with another Hebron Basketball championship, this time on the boys side. Their 8th grade group capped off a perfect 14–0 season with a 64–38 win. King Abrams led the way with 20 points, attacking the lane and pushing in transition. Adam Sulewski Jr. added 12 points, mostly coming downhill, and Sean Cooley chipped in 9 points. Congratulations to the Hebron program and the 8th grade boys on the championship.

5th/6th Grade Girls: Hebron 6th 48 - North Forsyth 41

56

Hebron swept the two GYBA girls divisions, winning the 5th/6th grade championship behind big performances from Amayra Minus and Zoey Williams. Minus had a 20-point performance, dominating the glass and scoring in the post with second-chance points. Zoey Williams added 16 points, knocking down two threes to help secure the championship. They finished the year on top with a strong 9–1 record. Congratulations to Hebron.

7/8th Grade Girls: Hebron 7-8th 54 - Grayson 35

78

Hebron’s 7th/8th grade group completed the second half of the sweep for the Hebron girls program. All season, Jordyn Avila has been remarkable, averaging 38+ points per game and putting together one of the best seasons in GYBA history. Nothing changed in the championship game, as Avila scored 38 points to secure the win and a perfect 12–0 record. Amayra Minus also played up in this division. While she wasn’t a major factor on the scoreboard, her rebounding and rim protection were huge, especially playing up a grade. This is a special group—congratulations to Hebron on a perfect season.
