Suwanee Sports Academy | Suwanee, GA
The 2025 Next Gen Preview at Suwanee Sports Academy brought together some great young
talent in the area for a day of competition and skill development. After a full slate of games,
Coach Nick Osborne’s team — featuring Corey Wallace, Aiden Mitchell, Derrick. Green, Braden Maloney, and Stephen Weed — took home the event championship.
At the end of the day, we named our MVP, Aiden Goode (2031), and announced our First Team selections: Corey Wallace, Aiden Mitchell, Kennedi Robinson, Sawyer Finley, and Mymphis Dixon.
Here’s a look at the players who stood out:
Andrew Shy (2030)
One of the most intriguing long-term prospects in the group. A high-motor big who runs the floor hard, challenges shots, and rebounds with effort. Still developing offensively but shows promise with his timing and touch around the rim. If he continues to refine his footwork and add strength, his upside as a two-way interior presence is very high. - Mekhi Mckinney
Sean Prue Jr. (2031)
A creative guard with a strong understanding of the pick-and-roll. He uses screens well, makes quick reads, and can hurt defenses by scoring, hitting the roll man, or pulling up for his jumper. His quick release and confidence allow him to score in bunches when he finds a rhythm. - Mekhi Mckinney
Asher Thomas (2030)
This guard’s poise stands out. He understands when to push the pace and when to slow it down, showing complete control of the game. His high IQ allows him to create quality looks for teammates and keep his team organized. He’s a player who makes everyone around him better. - Mekhi Mckinney
Patrick McClain (2030)
One of the more reliable shooters in camp. He spaces the floor well, knocks down shots off the catch, and attacks closeouts with a quick straight-line drive. His floater is a weapon when defenders overcommit, and he understands how to move without the ball to stay involved. - Mekhi Mckinney
Aiden Goode (2031) – Camp MVP 🏆
Our Camp MVP was outstanding all day long. He mixed patience with aggressiveness, beating his man off the dribble and creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. His ability to finish with either hand, create space for his shot, and consistently make the right reads made him the most impactful player on the floor. His poise and maturity set him apart and made him an easy choice for MVP honors.

Sawyer Finley (2030) – First Team Selection ⭐
A strong, athletic forward with an impressive combination of size and skill. He attacks downhill and finishes through contact, rebounds at a high clip, and even showed the ability to grab-and-go in transition. His ceiling is high if he continues to polish his handle and perimeter game. - Mekhi Mckinney
Kennedi Robinson (2030) – First Team Selection ⭐
One of the most polished players in attendance. He changes speeds effectively, creates space with ease, and has a natural scoring ability at all three levels. Whether getting downhill, pulling up in the midrange, or hitting threes, he consistently found ways to put points on the board. His skill set and poise make him a tough cover, and his trajectory suggests he’ll be a name to track over the next couple of years. - Mekhi Mckinney
Aiden Mitchell (2030) – First Team Selection ⭐ | Championship Team 🏆
A versatile big guard who played with great feel. He consistently made the right reads, using his size to see over defenders and create for his teammates. Scored efficiently at all three levels — getting to the rim, pulling up in the midrange, and knocking down outside shots. His ability to combine scoring and playmaking makes him a valuable piece on both ends. - Mekhi Mckinney
Braden Maloney (2030) – Championship Team 🏆
A true glue guy who set the tone throughout camp and helped lead his squad to the
championship. He played the right way — knocking down open shots, making the extra pass, and staying active on both ends of the floor. His willingness to do the little things and make winning plays elevated his team and showed great maturity in a camp environment. - Mekhi Mckinney
Lennox Crawford (2030)
A big, physical guard who thrives getting downhill. He uses his frame to create contact, knock smaller defenders off balance, and finish through traffic. Shows a good feel for exploiting mismatches and creating advantages to score efficiently. His physicality and ability to get into the paint make him a tough cover. - Mekhi Mckinney
Mymphis Dixon 2030 - First Team Selection ⭐
A long, wiry wing with impressive ball skills for his size. He can put the ball on the floor, take defenders off the dribble, and finish through contact at the rim. Plays with great effort on both ends and brings energy every possession. His blend of size, skill, and motor makes him one of the more intriguing wings in the group. - Mekhi Mckinney
Derrick Green (2030) – Championship Team 🏆
Scrappy guard who helped lead his group to the championship. He was excellent both on and off the ball defensively, applying pressure and creating turnovers. When he had the ball, he looked to get downhill and make something happen — whether it was finishing through contact or kicking out to an open teammate for a good look. - Mekhi Mckinney
