HoopSeen acquired by 3STEP

SUWANEE, GA - HoopSeen, the Southeast's premier youth basketball event operator, has been acquired by 3STEP, the nation’s largest youth sports event operator.

Annually, HoopSeen welcomes nearly 2,000 teams to its wide array of events across the Southeast.

HoopSeen is a pioneer in the large event space for youth basketball, hosting several events annually at some of the largest convention centers in the Southeast.

“I think 3STEP offers HoopSeen a great opportunity to continue to grow the brand throughout grassroots basketball as well as collaborate more closely with other leaders in the space who are also under the 3STEP umbrella,” HoopSeen CEO Mike Eddy said.

“3STEP offers resources to help us continue to scale our HoopSeen platform and focus our attention on serving the thousands of coaches and players who compete in our events, leagues and camps.”

The HoopSeen platform will grow even bigger in 2024 with even more events throughout the Southeast, with over two dozen scheduled events.

“In many ways, HoopSeen will continue to operate as it always has as it relates to operating large scale events and covering grassroots basketball,” Eddy said. “The new partnership with 3STEP will allow us to upgrade and streamline some of our back-office processes and add additional services and events to the calendar.”
