North Carolina's Class of 2024 Top-15 Rankings
The class of 2024 is looking like it is going to be another strong class from top to bottom for the state of North Carolina. Here is our inaugural 2024 class rankings for North Carolina.
RANKINGS
Leading the way in the class of 2024 is AC Reynolds High School guard Rakease Passmore. The 6-foot-four guard helped Reynolds to the first round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association playoffs a few days ago. Passmore is one of the most athletic players we have seen in a few years coming out of the mountains of Western North Carolina. He announced on Twitter that he will be running on the Adidas 3SSB circuit with Garner Road basketball club. Passmore has been able to show off his shooting ability and his ability to get to the rim off the bounce. He has some offers from ACC schools along with some mid-major offers at this time. He is tracking to be the top prospect in the 2024 class.
2024 Prospect Paul McNeill has a Richmond County high school in the quarterfinals of the North Carolina high school athletic association for eight playoffs. McNeil, a 6 foot four guard has been steady all season long averaging close to 23 points per game. He is also running with Garner Road and is the number to prospect in our inaugural 2024 Oopsie rankings.
Coming in at number three is North Mecklenburg high school sophomore forward Isaiah Evans. Evans is a 6-foot-seven prospect that has been putting up huge numbers this season for North Meck. Tonight Evans leads North Mecklenburg with a matchup against Myers Park high score in the fourth round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association playoffs. Evans has already picked up offers from Illinois, Hampton, Texas A&M, and (Tennessee).
Fourth in the 2024 rankings is Seaforth high score forward Jarin Stevenson. Stephenson already has an offer from North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest, and Virginia. He comes from a basketball family where his mother played at North Carolina and his father played at Richmond before playing overseas professionally. Stephenson is a 6-foot-eight prospect that has a great frame and he can take over games with his quick first step with his size.
The fifth spot goes to Sir Mohammed from Myers Park High School. The 6-foot-five guard/wing is the son of Kentucky and NBA player Nazr Mohammad. The younger Mohammed will lead Myers Park tonight in the fourth round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association playoffs against North Mecklenburg High School. Mohammed played travel basketball with Team Curry on the Under Armor Association. He recently took an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech. He holds an offer from High Point and has heard some early from Tennessee.
