Miller had one impactful junior season aiding Vestavia Hills to a 26-3 record and being selected as 1st team All-South Metro. He also put up some solid numbers averaging 16.8 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the year.

The Decision

Instead of prolonging the decision of where to play, Miller steps off the board with confidence, stamping his next chapter with head coach Casey Alexander.

Miller stated that they had been prioritizing him for a long time so there was no hesitation with his decision.

“Coach Alexander believes in me, and it is a great fit and a great situation for me,” he added.

“They have an amazing basketball program in a great conference and their playstyle is perfect for me and is somewhere I can come in and make an impact immediately.”

In an earlier interview with Hoopeeen, Miller stated that he wanted to be somewhere he can make an impact from day one and that was the best fit; Belmont had all the right qualities to help him get to the next level.

What can Miller Bring to Belmont?

Miller plays with a lot of energy and has an extremely high motor getting up and down the court. He understands the value of having good spacing on the floor and can really capitalize on getting to the rim.

His ability to finish at the basket is off the charts; Miller is very swift on the attack and makes scoring in the lane look easy. He is a fierce athlete that will compete nonstop on both sides of the ball.
