On the board: Exploring four available studs from the HoopSeen Association
Recruiting seems to have so many ebbs and flows. The calendar is diced up like a sample tray at Costco. There are the early evaluations. Then the early signing period. Then the regular scholastic seasons and everything goes on pause. And then the spring comes around and college coaches are looking at their rosters wondering where to go with things.
The HoopSeen Association platform saw so many talented players come through the ranks. Some of them are still on the recruiting board and worth a serious focus from college coaches as we approach those final months of recruiting for the class of 2022. Who are some of the players worth a much deeper look? Let’s have a look.
Steady. Reliable. Coachable. Productive. All of those attributes work here for Arrington. He’s wrapping up a stellar basketball career at The Galloway School in fine fashion and moves into the final post-season run of his high school years.
We’ve already heard from a couple of mid-major programs and they plan on seeing him during the region tournaments. He warrants the attention from academic schools and mid to low-major schools. Coaches love coaching him. Teams win with him on the roster. His body of work is attention worthy.

If you’re looking for a body of work to stack up against any available senior in the South, Stephenson’s is as good as anyone. Seriously. The 6-foot-4 guard from Hueytown, AL is having a senior season that we simply can’t get enough out. D’Courtland Christian has worn out the S-T-E-P-H-N-O keys on his keyboard because of how much he’s written about him.
He's even better in the scholastic season than he was during the travel season. That’s saying a lot considering that he was a top performer at the Atlanta Jam, Bama Jam, Tip-Off, and Best of the South on our HoopSeen Association platform with the reliable Hawks Elite program.
Stephenson checks in at No. 5 overall in our Alabama class of 2022 rankings by D’Courtland Christian.
The junior college route may be the path that Stevenson takes. If so, don’t be surprised if he becomes a player that sees a major national recruitment after a year or two at the JUCO ranks. If he goes the four-year route, chalk him up as a very important regional steal in the class of 2022.
When the bright lights are on, so is Elijah Wyche. The 6-foot-5 forward is a junkyard dog extreme. He’s an all-in effort guy who makes winning plays. If you talk to anyone in the state of Florida, that’s the quick book on Wyche. Can there be any better compliment for a player? You play to win the game, right?
Wyche was such an important player for Florida PRO after the Thompson twins left to Overtime Elite. Wyche was critical in the reset run that Florida PRO had. He was professional and adaptable in the run to the deep games on Sundays.
A no-brainer value add at this point of the season for a Division I low-major. No brainer. No brainer. No brainer.

In the state of Alabama, MJ Jones is posting video game numbers in his senior season. If you’ve seen him in person, he’s about as entertaining of a guy you’ll find.
Jones is posting 24 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals a contest. Pelham (AL) HS is 25-5 on the year. His team is on a 10-game win streak before their Friday night against Clinton County, the team who Pelham last lost to a month ago. For Hawks Elite on the HoopSeen Association platform, Jones was the steady catalyst that glued all of the talent together.
Portland State recently offered. Montevallo and Southern Miss have also offered in the past. Jones said he’ll weigh his options at the end of the season.
