2026 Atlanta Jam: Top Performers 17U Pt. 1
SUWANEE, GA - The NCAA Live Period lives in the Peach State and the 2026 edition of the Atlanta Jam unveiled a number of players worthy of a deep dive on the recruiting front. Our staff rolls out Part I of our top overall performers.
First Team
Mach Mach, HoopAtlanta Orange - The unsigned senior from Woodward Academy (GA) had college coaches lined up for every Hoop Atlanta - Orange game throughout the weekend. At 6-foot-6, Mach is able to get a lot done on the floor. He left the crowds wanting more with his dunks at the rim.
He has elite athleticism and length for his position. He causes problems defensively as well, coming up with steals and blocks. He can defend multiple positions and cause turnovers. The long-term appeal is there with Mach and with the amount of college coaches that saw his games, I bet an offer will come after this weekend. - Justin Byerly
Grant Smith, Team Global Elite - Smith has been a name we are familiar with at our HoopSeen events. This travel season, Smith earned Top Performer recognition at our Bama Jam and was on two lists last travel season at HoopSeen Finale, Best of the South and the Atlanta Jam.
The list is long for what Smith can bring to the college level. At 6-foot-7, Smith can put the ball on the floor or he can hurt you with his shooting from the perimeter. He can start the fast-break off the boards and can defend multiple positions. - Justin Byerly
Elyjah Rebetez, HoopGwinnett - The product of Switzerland came to the Atlanta Jam and left us all intrigued with his play. With an offer from Hampton University under his belt according to Twitter, I can see the intrigue in the 6-foot-5 prospect.
He had a 34-point performance in one of the games we saw this weekend for Hoop Gwinnett. Rebetez has a nice touch around the rim and uses his length well on the defensive side. He can step out and knock down shots from the outside as well. Overall, Rebetez is probably the best prospect that we saw on the weekend. - Justin Byerly
Kohl Ward, Tennessee Tigers - Every weekend I am drawn to Ward’s game and seeing his improvement over the course of the travel season. This weekend at the Atlanta Jam was much of the same story. He affects the game in a lot of different ways.
Whether it's on the offensive side with him making drives to the lane and finishing or the opposite side where he is an in-your-face defender. He is a big cog in the way the Tennessee Tigers play and how they succeed throughout any given weekend. The 6-foot-2 guard had one of the best motors we saw on the weekend - Justin Byerly
Dylan Kellings, 94 Feet (HSA) - The 6-foot-1 guard is strong and physical out on the floor. He has a quick first-step and makes a living at getting into the paint. While there, he is either scoring or making a difficult pass for his teammates.
Kellings does a good job of handling contact and making the finish with contact. He has quick hands on the defensive side when 94-feet goes into the press. This causes a lot of problems for the opposition. In the final game for 94 Feet he had 11 assists. I like his motor and his ability to get the ball from one end to the other in a hurry. He has been a scorer and facilitator throughout the weekend here at the Atlanta Jam. - Justin Byerly
