2023 Atlanta Jam 17U Standouts II

SUWANEE, GA - We got to see plenty of familiar faces shine on the live period stage this past weekend, and we added new names to our scouting reports. It was a table-setter for the upcoming April live period and the rest of the summer beyond it, and this group shined on the stage.

What you can always bet on with a Tennessee Tiger team are some guards that do whatever it takes to win. Robison helped lead his team to a 4-0 mark and Robison is that guy for Chip Smith’s squad. Whether it was knocking down a long three-pointer or being the vocal leader for his team, Robison was that guy. He doesn’t get rattled, makes it a point to make sure everyone is on the same page or make the right pass. We are looking forward to watching this team throughout the travel season and a lot of it starts with Robison. - Justin Byerly

For the weekend, Rein was the reigning champion from the three-point line. He had to be top-5 on the weekend for three-point shooting. The 2024 prospect averaged 18 points per game for Camden Scott’s DB Elite program and with his size at the guard/wing spot, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some offers flying his way during the second live period. One thing that college coaches are always looking for are shooters and Rein fits that need. - Justin Byerly.

Walker was one of my favorite players from the weekend. On a team full of dudes, the 6-foot-6 wing stood out with his power game. Walker is essentially a jumbo playmaker with the ball in his hands, and, on top of that, he’s a quality triple-threat option, too. With his ability to dribble, pass, and shoot at any time, Walker was dangerous on the offensive end. There isn’t any wasted time with him. He gets to his spots with minimal flash and is productive on the floor. I’m a fan. - Garrett Tucker

The first thing that sticks out with Cole is he has great size at either guard spot. He can score off the catch or off the dribble and couples that with being able to cause problems on defense with his length and his ability to cause deflections and steals. He is a capable shooter from outside and can rattle off some shots from deep in a row consistently. Cole makes good reads with the defense, is a smart player with a high basketball IQ and he understands the game. - Justin Byerly

Borio really grabbed my attention on Sunday morning when I got to see Florida Pro for the second time this weekend. He’s a versatile, multi-use forward who plays with dexterity around the basket and on the wing. Borio caught alley-oops, hit jumpers with range, and he made plays off the bounce. At around 6-foot-8, Borio poses a mismatch problem. He’s just another example of Florida Pro reloading. This program always has dudes, and they have another one in Enrico Borio. - Josh Tec

Raath started the weekend strong with a 27-point outing on Friday night, and that performance got him going for the rest of the weekend. The 6-foot-3 guard wasn’t afraid to let it fly from deep — just ask opposing teams. He was one of the better shooters I saw in the event, but he isn’t just a shooter. Raath did a nice job of keeping the defense on its toes, showing the ability to put the ball on the floor and finish in an assortment of ways, whether it was with floaters or fighting through contact at the rim. He averaged over 18 points per game for the weekend. - Garrett Tucker

It was another quality weekend for Duskin, who is quickly becoming a staple HoopSeen standout. I’m a big fan of the junior because he literally does a little bit of everything. He’s one of the most versatile players I’ve seen this spring and continues to trend upward. I think Duskin is a valuable 3&D type prospect that will compete for a variety of Division I & Division II scholarship offers during the travel season. - Garrett Tucker

Ball4Lyfe is a source of consistency in a hectic world. I know that this program is going to have something for me when I sit down and take in one of their games, and Jeremiah Police ended up being a favorite of mine from the weekend. His athleticism paired with a dunk-everything approach made for a fun watch. Police showed, throughout the weekend, that he can knock down shots as well. - Josh Tec
