2023 Atlanta Jam 15U Standouts

SUWANEE, Ga—While 17U is the focus of college coaches and most media during live periods, the 15U division is where the stars of tomorrow are cutting their teeth. This is when prospects continue to establish themselves as names for the future, and boy, there were certainly some intriguing prospects in 15U at Atlanta Jam.

Let’s check out some of the players that impressed.

Zy’Vaun Puckett has been one of the most consistent players in the 15U division this season. He’s building up a solid resume on a team that’s been very successful. Puckett has plenty of athleticism at the guard spot. He uses it to his advantage in defense where he defends all perimeter spots well, and he can soar for highlight-reel dunks on offense. The guy just brings it on a game-by-game basis and is quickly becoming a name to jot down for the future.

Jordan Harris

There wasn’t a more impressive 15U team in terms of production and potential than this Iso Joe group. 6-foot-7 wing Jordan Harris was among the best long-term prospects in the division this weekend. He already has the right frame to build on, and he has foundational perimeter skills that should continue to level up over the years. Of course, Harris plays aggressively and will put someone in the rim of they’re not careful. While this class is still a ways away in terms of recruitment, Harris picked up a D1 offer from Jackson State. He’s the rare case of a player his age actually getting attention from the next level, but it’s not hard to see why schools want to get in on him early.

Jamarie Anthony

This was our first look at Iso Joe’s 15U team this season, and they have plenty of dudes that we need to unload notes on. Jamarie Anthony is certainly one of them. The 6-foot-6 guard/wing is long and athletic. He uses those physical tools on defense primarily. Anthony showed the ability to impact the game across the board though. Scoring, passing, rebounding, he does a little bit of everything. His long-term potential is certainly exciting.

Darrion Hadley

In the US Open Qualifiier bracket, Darrion Hadley stepped up under the brighter lights and led Atlanta Kings with 15 points to secure a big-time W. Hadley made his living slashing to the basket and using his size to score over smaller guards or wings.
