Alston is one of those guys that isn’t really flashy or loud, he just gets his work done on the floor. I love this Team Trezz team and how hard they play, a lot of that comes from Alston. He brings the energy when he is in the game by playing hard, every play. He is always around the ball, whether it is rebounds, blocking shots, loose balls or getting out in transition, you can guarantee that Alston is going to be near the play. He was battling all weekend with some bigs that have committed or are getting interest at the highest level. - Justin Byerly

If there was a better, more well-rounded pure point guard in the building, I must have missed them. Harding was that good and that impressive. Quick, sure-handed and smart, I trust Harding to make plays and get guys good, open looks. The MidPro guard collapses defenses well off the bounce, and he’s always aware of where his shooters and bigs are. Pass-first, his vision and pin-point accuracy led to a heap of assists, but he’s also a multi-level scorer who can put up points with the best of them. - Josh Tec

It’s not hard to see why Normand’s recruitment has started to take off. The Texas guard showed signs of stardom last travel season, and he’s amplified that momentum this year. Game in and game out, Normand produced at a high level this weekend in Louisville. With size, a strong frame, and plenty of athleticism, he provides a difficult matchup and can kill you with his versatility. Expect this to be a Texas star that continues to rise. - Josh Tec

This team has been a consistent winner so far this spring. They followed up an undefeated Atlanta Jam weekend by going 3-1 at the Grassroots Showcase. One of the driving factors behind their success has been 6-foot-5 guard Jack Medalie. This guy can absolutely pour it on quickly with his ability to shoot the ball. Whether from the perimeter or mid-range, Medalie is a shot maker, plain and simple. This Tennessee group has made some noise early on. If Medalie keeps having weekends like he has been, that buzz should continue throughout the summer. - Josh Tec

Florida Pro collected three statement wins over some of the top independent teams in the country, and De’Shayne Montgomery was a large reason why. The 6-foot-5 wing is crafty, versatile, athletic, and has the intangibles you want to see out of a prospect. My first game watching him against 3D Empire, he opened the game up with two powerful back-to-back dunks that left the gym buzzing. As you can imagine with most athletic wings, he shines in transition. Defensively, he caused a ton of turnovers with his disruptive play on that end. - Brianna Patton
