16U Platinum Best of the South Champs: Team Wall

ATLANTA, GA - The 16 and under the platinum division of the Best of the South was loaded with talent. Winning this bracket was not for the faint of heart. For Team Wall, it was a big-time second-half defensive effort that allowed them to claim the 61-50 win and ultimate championship trophy.

To win a title game at this level and during this week of a marathon of games, you have to have balance. Team Wall certainly had it. The three-headed monster of Caden Bell (15 points),  Ari Fulton (15 points) and Carlos Vasquez (14 points) was a trio that had it rolling throughout the game.

Fulton was the most complete player on the floor in the title game. He was inside and outside and effective everywhere in between. What an ending for the 6-foot-5 forward.

For 3D Empire, Niko Lucero continued his terrific week of work with 19 points in the title game. He drilled five first-half three-pointers in the game. Kuol Atak finished with 11 points. Atak was the most intriguing player in the entire 16 and under division.
