HoopSeen Rankings

Mercer spent a good portion of July watching Eagle’s Landing shooting guard Brandon Thomas.

The visit season is back at it again this weekend and there are a number of players from the state of Georgia that we are watching closely.

We released our post-summer rankings for Georgia’s 2018 class today. There weren’t a lot of changes, to be honest. This class is an interesting group.

Down a majority of the second half, AC Georgia had to dig deep and dig even deeper from beyond the three-point line to come back and claim the 17U Best of the South tournament.

The July live period is always a hectic but fun few days where there is a lot of ball to be seen.

We continue our look at the top performers from the 2017 HoopSeen Atlanta Jam.

Middle Georgia, Major Talent

With the Live Period upon us, it’s time for coaches from across the nation to migrate down to the south to catch a Peach State staple, the Atlanta Jam.

Our annual Elite Preview took place on Saturday at Kell High School and the camp was filled with talent from the  2018, 2019 and 2020 classes.

The 2017 Elite Preview was loaded with the next wave talent in the state of Georgia. We polled our staff and coaches to determine the top overall performers from the camp.

We’ll admit it, Class AAAAA is a hard one to figure. There are a host of options for the team that could take it all. This is a balanced bracket without much of a no-brainer favorite.

Brandon Thomas, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Eagle’s Landing (GA) High School is having a terrific junior season in the southern suburbs of Atlanta.

Our annual Georgia Fall Preview camp was packed with talent across all 16 teams that competed. We roll out our player reports with help from our team coaches and staff of evaluators.

The HoopSeen Shootout and Fall League was a great stage to preview the upcoming high school season here in Georgia.

The Georgia Elite Preview was jam-packed with talent and our staff looks back on each player at the invite-only camp. Here are the player breakdowns from Team 4.
