Potential June recruiting risers in Georgia's 2025 class

June will see the class of 2025 officially be able to be contacted by college coaches directly. While plenty in the class have gotten offers already, this will be the first real salvo into their recruiting journeys.

The initial contact period, followed by the June live events, will set the table for the class.

Here are some players to monitor throughout the month.

Taylor ended May with a great EYBL session with the Georgia Stars. He used the final stop before Peach Jam to build momentum going into the summer, and he’ll undoubtedly have plenty of eyes on him with Grayson during the high school team camps. The 6-foot-8 forward does a lot well on the floor. He has a versatile offensive game which is highlighted by great feet and hands around the basket. He’s picked up a handful of offers in the past, but this summer should see that take shape even more.

Zach Foster

A long guard, Foster is a multi-level scorer capable of knocking down shots consistently from all over the floor. That shooting ability paired with his ability to create offense for himself and others while being a quality defender on the perimeter has seen Foster pull multiple offers recently. A good June can keep that recruiting momentum going for him.

Josh Dixon

Josh Dixon has as much potential to pop in June as anyone in the class. He’s a dynamic guard that can fill it up with the best of them. Dixon is quick, he’s shifty and that allows him to get to his spots well and create separation to get a shot off. He’s a player who has seen early offers, he’s gotten interest from all levels of D1 schools. This June could be one that sees all of that materialize even more.

Deke Cooper

A wing to watch in the state? Look no further than Deke Cooper. He’s impressed as a shooter as of late, but his game is much more than that. He’s smooth, he’s athletic. Cooper’s offensive game is vast, and he’s shown that he can guard multiple spots. Watching Woodward Academy will give coaches looking to recruit the 2025 class a chance to see two of the better prospects in the state with Cooper and Foster on the perimeter.

Mekhi Ragland

Coaches should certainly make a point to check out Berkmar this June. They have a talented group of younger players. Their 2025 group has recruitable prospects, and big Mekhi Ragland will be an attention-grabber at some point. It could be as early as this summer or somewhere down the line, but this big man looks like a bruiser, but he has touch that extends from the rim and can reach the 3-point line. His footwork is good, he’s nimble for his size, and he’s shown passing acumen as well.
