With the turn of the calendar comes a time to reflect on the first two months of the season and reevaluate where teams stand.

6A looks different than most would have expected right now. Some of the more talented teams that were projected toward the top of the class have hit some roadblocks and are figuring things out still while others are clearly asserting themselves as contenders to get to Macon for a state championship. As things stand on the second day of 2023, here are the five best in 6A.
