Fall Preview Team 11 Breakdown
Looking back on the past weekend, here are the team 11 evaluations from our staff and coaches from the Fall Preview camp.
Beatty was part of this team’s nice crop of guards. He’s a 6-foot junior guard who showed some nice things throughout the day. His coach remarked about his coachability and effort the most. He runs the show well and looks like he could have a nice season for Collins Hill.
Clifford is an absolute sniper. He shot the ball really well on Saturday. He’s also a guy that’s going to embrace making hustle plays that’ll lead to his future teams winning a lot of 50/50 balls. He’s also still a freshman, so it’ll be fun to track his development.
Ekoue-Bla is a physical guard who had a solid day at the Fall Preview camp. He’s a strong driver who can play through contact on the move and when he gets to the bucket. He’s at his best when he’s attacking the basket, but he can also be counted on to hit from 3-point range some too.
For my money, James was one of the best players in the gym. His toughness was genuinely unparalleled. He’s a leader, communicator and winner who’s willing to do all of the dirty work. James is a slasher who finishes through contact well. He can also be counted on to hit some threes and pull his fair share of rebounds. - Josh Tec
Well-rounded would be a good way of describing Morgan’s game. He’s a hustle guy who does the little things that lead to wins. He can knock down shots, and he’s a guy who’ll sit down and guard someone too.
A younger, smaller guard, Spivey is super shifty. He gets to his spots and finishes well. As he gets older and fills out some more, I could see him emerging as a guard that gets talked about a lot in the Georgia basketball world.
