In addition to that he has contributed to The USA Today, Charlotte Observer, The Asheville Citizen-Times and The Sun News. He has held The Justin Byerly Upstate/WNC Showcase the past two years and has helped student-athletes from North Carolina receive college scholarships. He owns The Justin Byerly Scouting scouting service that has over 100 college subscriptions. Looking back through our 2021 event season, there were a number of players who developed into legit college players. I think @proskillsnashville wing Kristian Shaw was a consistent scorer and threat from three. He committed early to #ETSU. Important in-state prospect for Des Oliver and staff.

Motor men never go out of style with recruiters. So that's why I like what Alex Anamekwe can be at the college level. The bouncy 6-6 F from McKinney (TX) was outstanding at the Fantastic 40 in Vegas last week. He said Utah State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Texas Tech are involved.

Looking back through my July notes, I kept coming back to Petia Dogale of Dreams Become Reality. The all gas, no brakes big man will be a player who sees a shot in the arm this prep season at Bella Vista Prep. Bank it.

We checked in with Braxton Bishop, a 5-foot-11 PG from Tupelo(MS) with the ℅ 22’. Bishop says his summer has been going good and he’s received interest from most of the Jucos in Mississippi.

Bishop has also been contacted by Columbus State, Tuskegee University, and Southern Arkansas University.

LJ Green is a 6-foot-1 PG from Mongomery, Alabama, with the ℅ of 2023. After a great showing at the GBCA live team camp, Green says picked up interest from some great schools.

Kennesaw St, Wichita St, and Lousiana Monroe were the main ones that reached out.

We touched bases with Haston Alexander, a 6-foot-9 Big from Tuscumbia(AL). Alexander says he’s been having a great summer, playing a lot of games.

University of North Alabama, North Georgia University, and VMI are the main ones with their eyes locked on Alexander.
