Long after the post-game speech in the locker room was made and the collective roar of the team huddle calmed down, Arman Madi and Brophy College Prep head coach Matt Hooten had a moment as they walked out of Perry High School.

The coach wrapped his arm around the 6-foot-6 junior, shook him with some bottled up post-game joy and said some words of encouragement and positive coaching with his leading scorer and rebounder.
