2024 Alabama Fall Preview: Other Standouts, Part II
The 2024 version of the Alabama Fall Preview camp is officially in the books and this year’s group came on strong on Saturday at Homewood High School. With some high-level talent and depth, there’s a lot to digest from the action.
Following the event, we polled our coaches and staff on their top performers from the day. This was one of the most diverse top performer selections that I’ve seen since we started the Alabama Preview camp almost ten years ago.
With over 20 players receiving top performer votes, we’ve decided to add additional standouts to our coverage. These players received at least one vote to be a top performer.

Joshua Fonbah, 2025 CG, Spain Park: Fresh off an offer from Huntington College, a healthy Joshua Fonbah came into the building and had a strong showing at the Fall Preview. The stout guard packs a punch with his game. He did a nice job putting pressure on defenses with his consistent attacking and slashing ability. Fonbah will be an X-factor for Spain Park this season and a player to keep an eye on.
Kamron Gamble, 2026 SG, Decatur: Gamble came into the day as a rather unknown, but, after a quality day at the office, the Decatur product landed a couple of top performer votes. The athletic combo guard showcased his defensive versatility by guarding multiple positions early and often. On offense, Gamble put opposing defenders on their heels with his burst and ability to get downhill. He made several tough finishes at the rim, too.
Lee Garcia, 2026 SG, Buckhorn: Garcia also garnered a couple of top performer votes, and, after seeing his activity on both ends of the floor, it’s easy to see why so many people held him in high regard. The 6-foot-4 wing was active on the offensive boards, getting several tip-ins off rebounds throughout the day. He was also an excellent floor spacer and knocked down shots at an efficient rate all day.
Austin Nance, 2026 PG, Hazel Green: Very rarely does a young prospect dominate a game without scoring the basketball. Well, Nance did just that on Saturday at the Fall Preview, as the junior floor general controlled games with his high IQ, pace, and passing ability. The shifty Hazel Green product is excellent at breaking down defenses and spraying the ball around to shooters on the perimeter. He’s one of the best pure creators we had in the field. Nance also kept defenses honest with his ability to knock down shots from behind the arc.
Aiden Owens, 2025 WF, Chelsea: Owens is a mismatch nightmare for a variety of reasons when he steps on the floor. For one, the 6-foot-4 typically finds himself playing as a big at Chelsea High School, so he’s a hard assignment for many post players. The senior’s combination of skill and quickness off the bounce aided him throughout the day. I thought Owens was one of the better slashers in the gym, as he made tough finish after tough finish in the paint.
Skyler Stovall, 2025 CG, Montgomery Academy: There weren’t many guys quicker end-to-end with the ball in his hands than Stovall. The 6-foot-4 senior is one of the more intriguing available seniors in the state. He checks all the physical tool boxes when it comes to speed, agility, and athleticism. Like he has done for the past few years, Stovall showed he can play both guard spots effectively. He’s a capable ball-handler and creator while also delivering with some slashing and shooting. The Montgomery Academy standout earned a couple of top performer votes from Saturday’s action.
