Five Alabama Key Players to watch in July

With #Bestofthesouth kicking off in less than 24 hours, we wanted to provide some key players to keep an eye on this live period. These players have shown consistency at every HoopSeen event and have proven why they should be considered the top prospects in Alabama.

Josh Price is a 6-foot-1 PG, playing with UWIN out of Alabama. What more can be said about this kid. The term "consistency" gets thrown around loosely, but this kid lives and breathes it. Price is a player that can score on multiple levels. He has a phenomenal shot and will make a defender pay with just an inch of space. Price is very patient when attacking the rim; he likes to pick the perfect moment for an easy bucket. Price definitely has some clutch tendencies and can be trusted to take the last shot if needed.

Hunter Ivy is a 6-foot-3 two-way guard playing for the Team Speights Alabama. Ivy must be one the most complete players to grace hoopseen with his presents this travel season. Each time he stepped on the floor; it was nothing short of an outstanding performance. Everything about Ivy's game screams college level. Ivy's IQ is off the charts. He plays with tremendous hustle and leadership. Ivy has great Court Vis. and can score from any spot on the floor.

JaBorri McGhee, a 6-foot-2 guard, is playing with CP25 AL/MS. McGhee is the most physical player I have seen this travel season. He's quick, strong, and could literally play all five positions on the floor. McGhee can score anytime he gets ready, that's how elite of a player he is. This Mississippi native is on his way to becoming one of the top players in Alabama if he continues his greatness on the court.

Corey Stephenson

Corey Stephenson, a 6-foot-4 SG, is playing with the Hawks Elite. Stephenson has been the most explosive guard to step on the court this travel season. He's going to provide nonstop energy from buzzer to buzzer. He has an excellent midrange and has constantly improved on his outside shot. Stephenson has phenomenal athleticism and strength, making him unstoppable attacking the lane.

Colby McAllister

Colby McAllister is a 6-foot-4 SG playing for Team Speights Alabama. McAllister has been a hungry player this travel season and has been locked in on outworking everyone. He's one of the best high-volume shooters in his class and provides tremendous energy on both ends of the floor. McAllister strives to be the best player on the court and will continue that goal at #Bestofthesouth.
