SUWANEE, GA - The Hype Hawks defeat the AR Hoyas  51-46 to claim the 8th Grade championship at Bob Gibbons TOC on Sunday afternoon. 

Miles Cromwell was dominant in the paint for the Hawks, the Hoyas had no answer for his size. Cromwell put up 14 points and without a doubt finished with 10+ rebounds. Guard Matthew Goins was right there with him scoring 14 points as well as 2 threes. Despite the loss Sawyer McDonough finished with 12 points and knocked down 2 threes.

It was a tight game throughout with several lead changes, however the size of the Hype Hawks was too much for AR Hoyas to handle. The Hawks began to pull away in the latter half of the 2nd due to the hard work that Miles Cromwell and the Hawks put in on the offense glass. Ultimately forcing the Hoyas to foul in the final minutes.
