The HoopSeen Bama Jam was filled with some incredible games for day two. Players brought their “A” game. Let's dive into the action from DCourtland Christian's point of view.
EYECATCHER
CJ Blount, a 6-foot-2 PG with the Iron City Huskies 17U, left everything he had on the floor on Saturday. After dropping 25pts on Friday and picking up an easy win, Blount stepped on the floor with something more to prove. He started off with 12 points and was down at the half.
As the next half started, Blount was locked in. He slashed his way to the basket finishing with contact, Blount was not willing to let this game slip away. With a hard-fought second half, Blount finished with a whopping 35 points and knocked down four three-pointers to get the win. Blount was unstoppable. He has come through and left his mark on every game at Bama Jam.
RISING STARS AT THE BAMA JAM
Tyler Davis (Ty) is a 6-foot-2 Guard with Pro One 15u. This kid is truly special and plays with nonstop hustle. He has been the reason for the success for Pro One this weekend. Davis attacks the rim with one purpose and that is to score. He plays with higher energy and shows tremendous leadership on the court. Davis started early, picking up 24 points and the win. Later through the night Davis proved that he could step and takeover during adversity. In a tough win against All Alabama, Davis dropped 21 points and knocked down a game-winning three-pointer.
Ty Davis has all the talent to become a future prospect for the state of Alabama. Jamicah Adair, a 6-foot Point Guard with All Alabama has been very impressive this weekend. One his first couple of games out, Adair put on a great show dropping 28 points. He is probably one of the best PGs in his class. Adair has incredible court vision and aids him with being a great facilitator. With a tough loss against Pro One, Adair stood tall and carried his team with 21 points and came up with clutch baskets to keep the game close. Adair is an impressive talent that is on the rise, keep an eye out for this kid.
