The 2015 Best of the South was loaded with talent and the 17 and under division was a dogfight from start to finish.

Advancing through bracket play, we have a lot of familiar names left in play as well as some new ones. Here are a few quick notes about the day’s action:

The Atlanta Jam was a monster success, according to the college coaches, travel teams and players that attended our event over the weekend at Suwanee Sports Academy. Our staff debated opinion on the best players we saw at the three-day event during the NCAA live period. Here’s who we liked the very best.

Our staff is as follows:

Jalen Butler - JB

Kory Keys - KK
Garrett Tucker - GT
Carter Wilson - CW

We will also have a “story starter” piece about the guys that used the stage to play their way into the conversation. Our Justin Young will release that story by Tuesday.

SUWANEE, GA — The action began at the HoopSeen Atlanta Jam on a rainy Friday night at Suwanee Sports Academy and college coaches poured into the building with hopes of starting their spring off on the right foot. They didn’t need to wait long to get right into the action.

SUWANEE – When the Wellington Wolvesmade the decision to play in the Bob Gibbons Tournament of “Future” Champions tournament they were looking to measure their skills against teams outside of Florida.
