Pringle Seeing Recruitment Open Up

Beaufort (SC) Whale Branch forward Nick Pringle ended the July evaluation period with zero offers. Fast forward to tonight and Pringle has five.

The 6-foot-8 big man spent the summer playing with Team TMP based out of the Charleston, South Carolina area. Pringle is ranked 13th in the latest HoopSeen South Carolina rankings.

His first two offers came from Coker and South Carolina State in the early part of August. Things were quiet over the next month until this week. USC-Upstate, Northern Kentucky and Wofford all offered Pringle.

"This really means a lot to me. From me having zero offers the end of this summer to have five today shows me my work is paying off. Being from Beaufort could be tough at times because it’s far in the low-country and it’s not much ways to get the exposure. The true meaning of why I do what I do is from the youth. I want to show them no matter where we’re from we still can make dreams come true," Pringle said about his surge in recruitment.

With the 2020 class not being as strong as other classes for big men, I expect Pringle's recruitment to not slow down any time soon.He is still figuring out his body and getting more comfortable in his size and when it all clicks, he will be a player that will really shine.
