Bryce McGowens Settling In, Raking in Offers

With a player that will surely be ranked in our top-5 players for the 2021 HoopSeenNC rankings, Bryce McGowens has started his transition to the HoopState well.

After spending the past three seasons at Wren High School in Greenville, South Carolina, McGowens decided to make the move to Lincoln Academy in Winston-Salem and play for longtime college coach Larry Davis.

Davis was the head coach at Furman University and was an assistant at The University of Cincinnati before making the move to North Carolina.

McGowens took an unofficial visit to Georgia on August 1 and Tom Crean offered the 6-foot-5 guard who spent most of the spring and summer playing with The Upward Stars.

Florida and Iowa State offered back in July and now has a total of 20 offers.
