Q&A with our 31st ranked prospect in Georgia's 2020 class: Anthony Hardy

Now that the early signing period is over, the programs that finished their 2019 class have started to roll over the calender. Even the programs looking for immediate help have compiled a list of targets in next years class to pursue. With our recently released 2020 rankings, now is as good a time as any to gain insight into the state's top prospects recruitment. Today, we start with Lithia Springs guard Anthony Hardy Jr

Q: What schools are recruiting you at the moment?

Hardy: Georgia State, and Georgia Southern have reached out to me. They haven't offered me yet though

Q: What are you looking for in a coach, staff, and program?

Hardy: I'm looking for a coach that will allow me to be a leader on and off the court. Also a coach that will give the opportunity to showcase my skills as a scoring point guard. A coach that will push me and the other players athletically and academically, and is willing to make the effort to lead his players to a path of success.

Q: When do you plan on committing to a program?

Hardy: I plan to commit my senior year before or after the season

Q: Who's going to help you make your decision?

Hardy: My parents, head coach at Lithina Springs Duakne Kelly, and my Top Notch aau coach, coach Mulhollande.

What has been said: Justin Young had this to say during the "Georgia Cup: Year end closeout"

HE’S UP NEXT

"Anthony Hardy, Jr. of TNBC’s 16 and under team was one of the best scorers from all of the Cup events this season. You’ve read about him plenty here on HoopSeen and you’ll certainly hear more about him moving forward. He’s cut his teeth on the Cup stage and has proven himself as one of the premier scorers in Georgia’s 2020 class. Could he be an all-state level player at Lithia Springs High School and a Division I prospect? You better believe it. He’s proved such on the Cup platform."

Q: What have they been telling you about the process of being recruited?

Hardy: Just to be patient. Trust the process and have faith that God will guide me in the right direction.

Hardy made a name for himself after pouring in points at our HoopSeen events. Multiple 30 point games throughout the spring and summer made him a player to watch

Hardy: It's an honor to be among a talented group. I look forward to keep working and moving myself up in the rankings.
