Top 2019 Shooters

Ricky Knight, South Fulton Lions

I remember it like it was yesterday. 19 threes at Georgia cup II. What stands out about Knights shooting ability is how quickly the ball goes off his fingers. There are no wasted movements at all. Coming off of screens he was able to get quickly squared up and on balance to get off a quality look. Most defenders should also take note that Knights length makes the average contest irrelevant as he often times can shoot over them.

Reese glover, EAB Tigers

The shooting display that Reese Glover put on at our Bama Jam was nothing short of comical. Everything he put it seemed to no only go in but it barely grazed the rim. It was hard for defenses to get a handle of him as he constantly moved and relocated to open spaces. Defenders with size didn't deter him as his movement and quick release were oftentimes enough to get by.

Devin Butts, Team GA Magic

Unless you've been living under a rock then this Team GA Magic guard has been a name on the rise for the past month or so. What has been impressive during his run is his ability to not only be a catch and shoot treat but one just as lethal off the bounce. Butts is able to maneuver around the first defender only to pull up way before the help defense has a chance. His value as a multi-faceted should translate well.

Miguel Ayesa, Florida Elite

In both the Florida and Atlanta Jam, Miguel Ayesa has been a consistent long distance shooter. This past weekend alone he had a 17 point first half outburst, many of which came from behind the arc. The Florida Elite wing has exceptional feel for when a defender is too aggressive. His pump-fake to one dribble pull up is a simple yet effective counter. Ayesas game is about as textbook as they come.

Jordan Krueger, Atlanta Timberwolves

Regarded as one of the best shooters in the field by our own Garrett Tucker, Krueger has made a splash earlier on this season. A couple of one man runs have opened my eyes to the high percentage shooting of this Atlanta Timberwolves guard. Krueger has had several games on multiple 3 point games during this travel season.
