Home visits up next for Amari Kelly

Amari Kelly is one of the top big men in Georgia’s 2018 class. The 6-foot-7 forward from Norcross (GA) Meadowcreek High School ended the summer as one of the top mid-major big men in the Deep South.

He’s now putting the pieces together of his active recruitment.

Kelly said he doesn’t have any official or unofficial visits set up yet but he has lined up some home visits with college staffs. Kelly said he will host Florida Gulf Coast (Sept. 9), Louisiana Tech (Sept. 10) and Duquesne (Sept. 11) and a few other schools that he hasn’t confirmed a date on just yet.

Murray State, Portland, and Northern Kentucky are also in the mix, Kelly said.

Kelly climbed to No. 13 overall in our Georgia 2018 rankings after his strong showing with Stackhouse Elite on the travel circuit. He’s a key member of a good Meadowcreek team going into this 2017-2018 high school season.
