Best of the Rest: Georgia's 2016 SGs

As the class of 2016 wraps things up at the high school level, there are still quite a few players in the state of Georgia that are looking for a place to play next season. Here are the three best two guards still on my depth chart from the Peach.

RELATEDOver 100 players from Georgia's 2016 class are off to play college hoops | PGs

Tyrie Jackson, Tift County: Recently qualified, no other player has sparked up the HoopSeen hotline quite like the south Georgia athlete. Built like a middle linebacker, Jackson had a good year for the always-strong Tift County program. He can score with power and drives hard to the rim. The younger brother of Georgia Tech guard Tadric Jackson, Tyrie comes from a lineage of guys that impose their will against defenders. His recruitment has blown up late with the Division I schools.

Aidan Saunders, Miller Grove: A key member of the uber-successful Wolverines, Saunders has proven himself as a capable scorer and defender. The long 6-foot-3 guard was one of our top performers at our Senior Showcase back in the spring. Saunders has proven himself as a quality multi-positional player that could really help a Division II program that competes in the post-season.

Virgil Fields, Stockbridge: Points, points and points. That is what Fields can rack up in a hurry. The 6-foot-5 do-everything guard had a stellar senior year and proved himself as one of the best point producers in the Atlanta area. Albany State may have the upper hand in the long and lanky guard from the southside suburbs.
