TN Prep Hoops Mr. Tennessee Basketball Finalists Announced

The winners will be announced at the state tournament. For Division II that will be next weekend in Nashville at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University and for the classification schools that culminates a few weeks later at the Murphy Center on the campus of nationally ranked Middle Tennessee State University. Here are the nominees:

Division II/Class A (Small Private School Division)

C.J. Gettlefinger (Grace Christian) 2019 guard committed to Oakland University
Malik Riddle (Rossville Christian)2,000 point scorer with several D1 options
Keon Johnson (Webb School)Class of 2020 high riser is on every high major list

Division II/Class AA (Large Private School Division)

Junior Clay (McCallie)
Tennessee Tech signee was a nominee last year as well
Darius Garland (Brentwood Academy)McDonald's All American is the two-time defending winner
Cedric Henderson (Briarcrest)Memphis royalty had a fantastic senior season

Class A

Jackson Hicks (Oakdale) District and Region Player of the Year
Arecko Gibson (MASE)D1 prospect had another outstanding season
Caden Mills (Van Buren County)Tennessee Tech signee has re-written the record books at his school

Class AA

K.J. Johnson (Marshall County) Junior guard has several D1 offers and has been lighting up the scoreboard
Jayden Lockett (East Nashville)The most exciting player on the most dangerous team in the classification
Jessie Walker (Brainerd)Competitor finished his final prep campaign on a high note

Class AAA

Mark Freeman (Southwind) LIU signee has his sights set on state this season, watch him go
Alex Lomax (Memphis East)Wichita State signee is the engine that makes the states best team go
Tyler Harris (Cordova)High scoring guard has several high level suitors, he has business to conclude
