HoopSeen Senior Showcase Super Seven

Our 2018 HoopSeen Senior Showcase is in the books. We polled our coaches and staff on the top overall performers from Sunday’s camp at Pope High School. Meet the Super Seven from the event.

Bryce Brown, Archer, PF/C (pictured above right)
Brown, our Co-MVP from the Senior Showcase, was very impressive on Sunday. The 6-foot-7 power forward did a nice job of showing everyone in attendance his inside-outside game. He stretched the floor and knocked down several shots from 18 feet and beyond, but he also showcased the ability to play in the paint. With a solid set of hands and mobility, Brown will emerge from the event as one of the most recruited players in attendance. College coaches can be very creative with him in the lineup. - Garrett Tucker

Adam Flagler, Dultuh, SG
One of the best shooters in the state of GA, Flagler carried that label into our senior showcase. He didn't disappoint. He made several shots from behind the arc but more importantly, he didn't settle when it wasn't there. Adam made sure to put his head down for tough layups at the rim, something he will have to continue to do at the next level. Flagler has made strides as a player all year, and his showing during the showcase should have caused him to walk away with even more interest then what he came in the door with. - Tai Young

Tre Gomillion, Aquinas, CG
Coming off of a state tournament run, Gomillion raised his stock with his performance at our senior showcase. He knocked down a few shots from the perimeter and played well off of ball screens. Gomillion has a body that can carve out space in the paint and he's not shy about mixing it up with bigs. He grabbed several rebounds and pushed the break with ease. His aggressive play style along with his ability to guard several spots defensively make him a player can win you a close game or two throughout a season. - Tai Young

Eli Lawrence, Tri-Cities, SG
One of those guys that's good at a lot of different things on the basketball court is Tri-Cities guard Eli Lawrence. Passing, shooting, handling, you name it. His style may come off as passive at times but that shouldn't be confused with someone that's not in the moment. At 6'4, Lawrence just knows when to pick his spots, affecting the game in both points and assists.  Lawrence is capable of stringing together a few possessions that remind you of just how high his ceiling is. - Tai Young

Jacolbey Owens, Warner Robins, PG (pictured above left)
Fresh off of hitting thegame-winningg shot in the state championship for Warner Robins, he is one our Co-MVPs from the event. Always capable of changing a game with his energy, Owens made sure to be as aggressive with the ball as he was without. Owens was one of the more fearless players at our camp, outworking defensively, and attacking gaps with the ball in his hands. As Owens continues to get more in tune with some of the game's nuances, expect him to cause havoc on other teams programs for 4 years at the guard position. - Tai Young

Brice Paster, Peach County, CG
Paster was one of the top guards from the Senior Showcase and he impressed in a variety of ways. The 6-foot-3 combo guard has a high IQ and terrific feel for the game. He began his day looking to involve his teammates with his passing and playmaking ability, but, as the day went on, he also began to turn up his scoring prowess. Paster has the ability to score from all three levels on the floor and he made shots at an efficient clip. The South Georgia native helped his stock just as well as anyone on Sunday. - Garrett Tucker

Terrance Porter, Jr., Grayson, F
At first glance, Porter, Jr. was one of the most impressive looking prospects on display. The 6-foot-8 forward oozes with length and versatility and his best playing days are ahead of him. He did a nice job of finishing at the rim, but Porter, Jr. showed flashes of more. He had some nice sequences on the perimeter, whether it was putting the ball on the floor and being a mismatch problem or hitting a couple of shots from the mid-range. There's plenty of intrigue that comes with the Grayson (GA) prospect, and don't be surprised if he is a hot commodity following the weekend. - Garrett Tucker
