Peachtree Ridge's season came to an end on Thursday night in a tough loss to Grayson. Senior guard Devin Vassell went out with a bang, posting 32 points in the defeat. He's had an all-state season and continues to trend upward. His next stop is Florida State. We moved him all the way up to No. 8 in the state and could still be way off.

Florida St. bound guard Devin Vassell has been named Region 6 AAAAAAA player of the year. The Peachtree Ridge standout has led his team to a 21-4 record so far.

As we get closer to the Elite Preview on March 18, we are paying close attention to the guys that have earned invites. One player that continues his upward trend is Peachtree Ridge junior guard Devin Vassell. His team lost to Newton, a top 25 national program, in the first round of the playoffs. But Vassell didn't lay down. He ended his year with 36 loud points. We're looking forward to seeing him next month at camp.
