After his productive travel season with Nike Team Florida, Gainesville (GA) forward KJ Buffen is shifting his focus to his recruitment. The 6-foot-6 forward is in the middle of a busy visit tour.

The top 10 junior from Georgia’s 2018 class unofficially visited South Florida last weekend. The staff is quite familiar with Buffen, dating back to their time when they were at Georgia Tech. 

He’ll be back at it on August 31 to September 1 for an official visit to Georgia State. Buffen will be on hand for the Panthers stadium opener at the old Turner Field. The school bought the old Braves venue and reinvented it as their home football field. Buffen will be joined by fellow top 10 in-state prospect Nelson Phillips for the visit. 

Then on September 2-4, Buffen will head north to Murfreesboro to see Middle Tennessee State. The Blue Raiders have actively recruited Buffen for quite some time.
